In the 2025–26 testing year, the GRE Subject Tests will be administered worldwide on the following dates:
- September 8, 2025, through September 21, 2025
- October 13, 2025, through October 26, 2025
- April 20, 2026, through May 3, 2026
(Registration for the 2025-26 GRE Subject Test Administrations will open in July, 2025)
You can take a GRE Subject Test once every 14 days. This applies even if you canceled your scores on a test taken previously.
When selecting a test date, make sure your scores will be reported in time for your application deadlines. When choosing a test date, allow time for delivery of scores and processing by the institution.
